Only 45 minutes from the La Fortuna is the Balsa River. The tour start at 8:30 am. Our experienced, professional bilingual guides will give a safety brief and rafting instructions for your river adventure . They we will equip you with life jackets, helmets and get you ready for fun . The river has excellent level of water and different classes of rapids throughout the year, making it ideal for the novice and the expert rafter will enjoy the challenge of maneuvering through fast rapids and good waves. The river is surrounded by beautiful scenery and it is not uncommon to see monkeys, iguana and more
